Gabe Newman

Gabe is a Registered Social Worker who specializes in working with life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety and men’s mental health including men's trauma. He has a particular interest in supporting first responders, and individuals engaged in disaster support work. He believes in a strong client-counsellor relationship and tailors his approach to the needs and personality of the client. His approach is evidence based and client centered and draws from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT),  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). He is registered with WorkBC and ICBC.

Trauma-Informed Counsellor  | Métis Mental Health Practitioner

Suze is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with over 12 years of experience in mental health, addictions, and trauma recovery. Her practice is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, combining somatic therapy, nervous system education, and relational healing to support individuals navigating complex trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. As a proud Métis woman, Suze honours the strength and resilience of each person’s story and specializes in working with women, 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, and Indigenous communities. Suze is registered with Crime Victim Assistance Program.
